Suite Function Pack Google Workspace Add-ons Application Privacy Policy

Zettalinx Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has established this Privacy Policy to respect user privacy and to handle Google user data appropriately regarding the "Suite Function Pack" (hereinafter referred to as "this application"), a custom function add-on for Google Sheets provided by the Company.

Article 1 (Access to Google User Data)

This application uses Google Apps Script to provide custom functions and related user interfaces on Google Sheets.

The Google OAuth scopes required by this application are as follows:

1. https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets.currentonly

This grants permission to access the Google Sheets that the user currently has open.

This app may use this permission to access or manipulate cell values, formulas, sheet information, etc., of the currently open spreadsheet to the extent necessary to execute custom functions and related features.

We will not search for or retrieve other spreadsheets that the user does not have open.

2. https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.container.ui

This permission allows the app's user interface, including menus, dialogs, and sidebars, to be displayed within Google Sheets.

This permission is used for the purpose of providing the user interface.

This app will not access Google user data beyond the permissions listed above and those permitted by the user.

Furthermore, it does not request access permissions to your Google account email address, other files in Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.

Article 2 (Purpose of Use of Google User Data)

This app uses Google user data only for the following purposes:

1. Execution of a custom function specified by the user

2. Calculation, processing, transformation, and analysis of data on spreadsheets

3. Displaying the execution results of a custom function

4. This application provides functions such as menus, dialogs, and sidebars.

5. Processing on the spreadsheet explicitly requested by the user.

This app will not use Google user data for any purpose other than providing the functions described above.

In particular, it will not be used for the following purposes:

• Ad delivery and personalization

• Marketing and user behavior tracking

• Selling data to third parties

• Data analysis unrelated to the provision of this application

• AI models and machine learning models

Article 3 (External Transmission, Sharing, and Provision of Google User Data to Third Parties)

This application processes data within the Google Apps Script and Google Sheets execution environment.

This app does not transmit accessed Google user data to external servers, external APIs, external databases, or third-party services managed by us.

Furthermore, we will not sell, share, transfer, or disclose Google user data to third parties.

Data processing by this application takes place within the user's Google Workspace environment.

The internal data processing of services provided by Google is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Article 4 (Storage and Retention Period of Google User Data)

This application does not store user data accessed from Google Sheets on servers, databases, or other external storage managed by our company.

Furthermore, this app does not collect or store Google user data in its own persistent storage area.

The data required for processing custom functions is only used while the function is running.

This application does not independently retain user data processed for future use.

The results of the custom function will be displayed in the Google Sheets application used by the user.

The retention period for data and processing results in spreadsheets is subject to Google Workspace specifications and user-managed limits.

Article 5 (Deletion of Google User Data)

This app does not store Google user data on external servers or in our own databases, therefore we do not retain any Google user data.

Users can manage their data and access permissions for this application in the following ways:

1. Delete custom functions and processing results from the spreadsheet.

2. Uninstall this app from the Google Workspace add-on management feature.

3. Revoke the access permissions granted to this app from your Google account's security settings.

Uninstalling this app or revoking access permissions will not automatically delete existing spreadsheets or their contents.

Since this app does not store any user data independently, no additional data deletion procedures are required on our end.

Article 6 (Protection of Sensitive Data and Security Measures)

This application takes the following security measures into consideration, given that users' Google Sheets may contain sensitive data such as personal or confidential information.

1. Minimizing access permissions
   This application uses Google OAuth authentication and authorization to request only the minimum access permissions necessary to provide its functionality.

2. Restrictions on access
   This restricts access to spreadsheets to only the spreadsheet the user currently has open.

3. Prohibition of external transmission
   Google does not send user data to our external servers or third-party services.

4. Prohibition of personal storage
   We do not store the contents of spreadsheets or the data being processed in our proprietary databases or external storage.

5. Google's use of security infrastructure
   We will utilize the security features provided by Google Apps Script and Google Workspace, such as authentication, access control, and execution environment.

6. Prohibition of use for purposes other than those intended.
   Google user data, including personal and confidential information, will not be used for any purpose other than performing the features requested by the user.

We will take all necessary security measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, alteration, and inappropriate use of Google user data.

Article 7 (Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy)

This application complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google Workspace User Data and Developer Policy.

The use and transfer of information obtained through the Google Workspace API scope will comply with Google's Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, we will follow the following principles:

1. We will limit the use of Google user data to what is necessary for the functionality of this app that we provide to users.

2. Google does not use user data for ad serving, ad targeting, or selling to third parties.

3. Google does not transfer user data to unauthorized third parties.

4. Our officers, employees, and affiliates will not view or use Google user data, except as permitted by Google's policies, such as for legal compliance or security needs.

5. Google does not use user data to train general-purpose AI models or machine learning models.

This app's handling of Google user data complies with Google's Limited Use requirements.

Article 8 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)

We may change this Privacy Policy in response to changes in laws and regulations, changes in Google's policies, or changes in the functionality of this application.

If there are any material changes to how we access, use, store, or provide your user data to third parties, we will notify you in an appropriate manner and, if necessary, obtain your prior consent.

The revised privacy policy will be posted on our website.
